Tribal Border Caucus
On June 7, Tribal leaders met during the NCAI Tribal Border Caucus in Prior Lake, Minnesota to discuss updates on the Tribal Border Crossing Parity Act and securing a reciprocal right of entry into Canada. Participants learned about the experiences of crossing the U.S-Canada border in Minnesota. Participants also were able to talk with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the U.S. General Services Administration about crossing the border, the work of Tribal Liaisons, Bipartisan Law Infrastructure project updates, and more.
